Age 94. A resident of Bloomfield Orchard Villa, went to be with the Lord, January 26, 2013. Born October 31, 1918 in Arcadia, PA to the late Katherine and John Mazur. Dear sister of the late Nancy Sanders and the late Irene Sawicki. Survivors include nieces; Cindy (Ken) Bieth, Sheri (Steve) Kress; nephew, John (Anna) Sanders; and great niece Kellie Kress.

Helen resided in Ecorse, MI 1920-1969; Birmingham, MI 1969-1982; Farmington Hills, MI 1982-2012, at Sanctuary at Marion Oakland West Catholic Retirement Community 2007-2012.

Helen loved spending time with her family first and foremost: She enjoyed traveling with relatives, reading and was fond of all animals and pets. You will be missed, dear aunt.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Greg Tokarski at 11:00 a.m. (in-state 10:30) Thursday, at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Road, Farmington.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
